Phuket International Rugby 10s

Teams from around the world will be competing for the Clive Williamson Memorial Trophy in the 7th AirAsia Phuket International Rugby 10s.

This 2-day tournament begins at 8 am and finishes at 6 pm.

Entry is free, and we will be raising money for an orphans' scholarship fund in Khao Lak.

2005 Phuket International Soccer 7s

Following the huge success for the 2004 Phuket International Soccer 7s, we would like to confirm the venue of the 2005 Phuket International Soccer 7s which will be held on 26 & 27 November 2005. This tournament is an invitation tournament that provides a socially competitive environment for players who approach the game with the right attitude and in the right spirit. This competition attracts teams from all over the world and is to become a major attraction in Asia for expatriate soccer players. Teams do not only come from Asian countries, but Australia, New Zealand and also Europe as some teams have expressed their interest.

Punchline Comedy Club Tsunami Benefit Gig

The UK's Punchline Comedy Club returns to Phuket for a tsunami benefit show.
Tickets are 1,700 baht including a pre-show cocktail served from 8:30 pm. The show starts at 9 pm.
Come early and dine at Sails or Caffè Cino for 750 baht+++ (excluding alcoholic beverages).

Yatching Race Starts In July

Good news for all the sailors and sea lovers out there - a new yaching event is due to start this month that promises to provide a week of entertainment and fun. The Phuket Race Week starts on 10 July and runs until 17 July. Organized by the Ao Chalong Yacht Club, the race has almost 30 boats already registered including a few well-known crafts like Beyond Rotto, Charro and Ceberus. Kick off is from The Evason Resort and Spa on the 10th and there will be parties on the Sunday, Wednesday and Saturaday nights. Local Artist To Show New Set Of Work

Some of you out there may have already seen some of artist Jay-das work, but if you havent there is a chance to do so this month. Jay-da previously did a lot of oil work with large, swirling, modern and very colourful paintings. The oil and bright colours are still there but she has developed a new style since the last time.
