Occupying a 80ha site some 33km from Bangkok on the Sukhumvit Highway in Samut Prakan province, the Ancient City is an open-air museum displaying 89 scaled-down replicas of Thailands most famous historical monuments.

30km west of Bangkok, this is a good place to take children. Plenty of animals as well as crocodile wrestling, performing elephants and a magic show.

A short distance beyond Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo, this features landscape gardens and a golf course, though the most popular attraction is its Thai Cultural Village with shows on folk dancing, Thai boxing and sword fighting efery afternoon at 15:00.
